The reprise of the 3-CIG units by SWT on the Lymington branch might be about to run out, as it appears that SWT have been testing class 158 units here to replace the 2 slam door refurbished class 421 3-CIG units that run over this short stretch of railway. It look like the existing units will be replaced sometime time before December 2009.

So if you want to travel back to the pre-privatisation railway and see scenes like these you had better hurry.
