Saturday 26th Septamber sees the first direct train from Moscow arriving in Nice for almost three quarters of a century, after a journey of almost 50 hours. The train previously ran from the late nineteenth century until the outbreak of World War Two.

There are plans for 1 train a week between the two cities but the partnersi n the prijhect are prepared to add more if there is enough public demand.
