In a bizarre story from Germany on Thursday 9th September 2010 , police in Solingen, western Germany had to close a stretch of railway line for an hour and had to delay seven trains while they used a helicopter to search for a naked man who jumped over a wall onto the tracks when he was surprised by a woman walking her dog.

The man returned home and his wife decided to drive the poor man straight to the police station, but it seems he wasn't out to get any sexual kicks but had taken up running in the nude to help him deal with stress. He always ran at night to avoid coming into contact with other people but on this night his luck just ran out.

He is currently being investigated for disturbing the peace.
